View MyNMU as a Student / View the Default Student Profile

In order to better support students in your area, you may want to see the default student profile. Please note that viewing the student profile does not grant you access to the student services contained within the profile, so clicking on services may not permit you to access those resources. This process requires several logouts and logins to alter your roles and view to a default student, and then to reset to your personal roles.

1. Click on View MyNMU as a Student tile, or in the sidebar menu.

2. Don’t see the View MyNMU as a Student tile? You should see it in the sidebar menu, and if you want to enable the tile please refer to the Customizing Your MyNMU Landing Page documentation to enable this hidden tile.

3. A new tab will open prompting for your NMU credentials. Enter your NMU username and password and click Login. Upon authentication you will see a page with instructions to log out of your current MyNMU session and sign back in to view the default student profile. Go back to MyNMU and click Logout in the upper right menu.

4. Return to mynmu.nmu.edu and log back in with your NMU username and password. You will see the default tiles and layout for the student role. In order to recover your personal roles, click logout in the upper right menu again, and then log back into mynmu.nmu.edu with your own credentials again. This will reset your profile to your default roles and layout.
