SolidWorks Student Access

*If you have a Northern Michigan University issued laptop and a class that requires SolidWorks you do not need this download.

1. Go to http://www.SolidWorks.com/SEK
2. Fill out the "Student Access Form"
   • Use the SEK-ID: XSEK12
   • For Version select: 2015-2016
   • YOU MUST REGISTER WITH YOUR UNIVERSITY EDU EMAIL ADDRESS!
     
3. Click "Accept Agreement & Continue"
4. Click the "Download" link next to "Win 7/Win 8 64-bit"
5. Click "Save File"
6. In the "Downloads Menu" click on the "SolidWorksSetup.exe" to run
7. Click "Yes" to continue
8. Click "Unzip"
   
9. Select "Individual (On this computer)" and click "Next"
10. For the serial number please contact a full time staff member at the Help Desk (227-2468)
11. Enter the serial number and click "Next"
12. Click "Download and Install"
13. Click "Finish" and restart your computer
