Description:
Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) gives you access to a collection of Adobe applications for Graphic Design, Video Editing, Web Development, Photography, along with a set of mobile applications and also some optional Cloud Services.
Instructions:
Adobe CC makes use of your NMU credentials. To access the software you will need to do the following:
- Go to to the Creative Cloud desktop app download page.
- Click Download Creative Cloud.
- Click on the Creative Cloud Set Up file in your downloads folder after the download is complete.
- You will be prompted to install Creative Cloud, select Continue.
- The installer will ask to make changes to your device, select Yes.
- You will now see a login page. Enter your NMU email and click Continue.
- You will be redirected to an NMU login page, enter your NMU credentials and select Login.
- Creative Cloud will now begin installing,
- When the installation has completed, launch the Creative Cloud desktop app as follows.
- Windows: Do any of the following:
- Double-click the Adobe Creative Cloud icon on the desktop.
- Click Start button > Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Click the Creative Cloud icon on the taskbar.
- macOS: Do any of the following:
- Choose Finder > Applications > Adobe Creative Cloud > Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Click the Creative Cloud icon on the menu bar.
- Windows: Do any of the following:
- Once you have successfully installed Adobe Creative Cloud, you can click Install for any of the apps you want.
Known Issues:
- You don't have access to manage apps
- The error is caused by a previous installation of an Adobe product. If you see this message, please contact the help desk at (906) 227-2468.
- Access Denied
- The Access Denied error is typically caused by the account not being authorized to use the Adobe CC products. If you are getting this error, please email the help desk at helpdesk@nmu.edu to request access.
