Problems Playing Videos or DVDs

There have been some problems with playing various types of videos on NMU issued computers. One solution is to use the “VLC Player” which supports most types of video formats. VLC is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player and framework that plays most multimedia files as well as DVDs, Audio CDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols.

You can download and install the VLC Player directly from the VideoLAN Organization website, http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
