Purpose: 
Defines the purchase of used notebook computers
Policy: 

Notebook computers become available for purchase when the respective service cycle expires. The purchase price is negotiated by NMU and is passed on to the purchaser; only one notebook per person per year. Eligible purchasers are notified via their NMU email account with required purchase procedures. WHO IS ELIGIBILE TO PURCHASE? The following prioritized groups are eligible to purchase the end of service cycle notebook computers if inventory quantities permit:

Group 1 : Graduating NMU students.
Group 2 : NMU faculty and staff that are issued an end of service model that is available for purchase.
Group 3 : All NMU faculty and staff, if inventoriy permits.
Group 4 : NMU Retirees, if inventories permit
