Paging Preferences

When working in WebCT, one concern that has been frustrating users is the paging preferences. For example, in the Grade Book the screen will only list the first 20 students in your course. The paging preference has a default of 20. In other tools the page default is 10. You can change the default to always show all the items by clicking the paging preference icon (bottom right corner of the screen) and type 999. Click Save. This will allow 999 items to be displayed at one time for that tool. To change the preference for all tools:

1. Go to your My WebCT page
2. Click the My Settings link
3. Click My Tool Options
4. Go to Paging and change the value to 999.
5. Click Save.

NOTE: When editing values for a column in the Grade Book, only 20 names will be listed at a time. There is not option to adjust this preference.
