Students using EduCat for any classes will need to install the updated version of the Respondus LockDown Browser. Without the latest version of the Respondus LockDown Browser, students will get a 'it's blocked' message when clicking the Next button at the bottom of the page in a quiz or test.
The current version is 1.0.5.02. The version number is available in the I or Information button in Respondus. Computers just issued to students for this fall 2012 semester or students who had the Fall 2012 image installed on their computer at the HelpDesk after August 1st of this year should already have the latest version.
Students do not need to come to the HelpDesk to get the Respondus LockDown Browser installed. Students can install the update themselves. Instructions are available at the 'Install Respondus Lockdown Browser update' page.
