Adding an MES Account to an Existing "Default Outlook Profile"

Exchange accounts are granted to faculty and staff members after sending a request to the NMU Helpdesk. An exchange account allows you to share calendars with other NMU faculty and staff members who also have an exchange account. Your NMU exchange account can also be accessed online using a web browser by going to https://exchange.nmu.edu/owa.

Exchange accounts are a second email account (yourID@mes.nmu.edu) you would have on campus. The instructions below integrate your regular @nmu.edu email account and your your exchange account so all your email ends up in one place.

Note: In order to add your exchange account to an exisiting default Outlook profile Microsoft Outlook needs to be closed.

If you were just assigned an exchange account you will need to log into http://myuser.nmu.edu/user using a web browser before the created exchange account's password is matched to the NMU email password and works in Outlook.
